The library provides service at no cost to people who reside or own property in Croton Township. Non-resident cards are available to anyone outside of our service area for a fee of $30.00 a year or $15.00 for 6 months.
To apply for a card, you need a valid driver's license or state ID with your name and current street address, you must live within Croton Township. Children under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present to sign their registration card. You can also apply for a card online through Patron Point. Replacement cards are issued due to loss, misplacement, or damage and cost $5.00.
Patrons are limited to 100 items total on a card, 10 of which may be DVDs. Non-Residents only have access to materials in our collection.
Patrons may place holds on materials within the Lakeland Library Cooperative (LLC) by accessing the online catalog. Material less than 6 months old, owned by other libraries, cannot be placed on hold. These items can only be placed on hold by Croton Township Library (CTL) patrons if they are currently owned by CTL. Books older than 6 months, owned by any LLC library, may be placed on hold for pick-up at CTL.
Most items can be renewed by accessing your patron account or by calling the library (231)652-1615. Please be aware that some items cannot be renewed. If you are unable to access your patron account, please call the library during open hours to speak with a librarian.
Late items incur fines as follows:
Books, audio books, magazines and non-fiction DVDs are 15¢ per item and per day.
Feature Film DVDs are $1.00 per item and per day.
